I am currently hired as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the High Meadows Environmental Institute (HMEI) and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology (EEB) at Princeton University. I participate in the collaborative research team, Earth Resilience and Sustainability Initiative (ERSI)—a joint effort of HMEI, the Stockholm Resilience Centre (SRC), and the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK).
My research bridges the dynamics of humans, nature, infrastructure, and institutions as coupled systems, e.g., socio-ecological systems, coupled natural-human systems, etc. I focus on analyzing system resilience and establishing sustainable management. Moreover, I am interested in social equity and its tradeoff with efficiency or performance. Diverse environmental problems are of my research interest including human migration, natural resource management, disaster management, etc. I work on complex system models, network analysis, and causal inference.
